Pam 653

I’ve been looking at Panerai watches for a bit but have never owned one. My wife surprised me with a 653 for Christmas. I hadn’t seen one before now so trying to learn more about it.

The watch is numbered on the back of the case as T042/500 but I don’t see that kind of numbering in pictures online. Does anyone know what this is?

Also what is the general thought on the PCYC watches?

Thanks for the help.

First welcome aboard and congratulations. I would never recommend to show your numbers starting with the T. https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/panerai

Welcome to the Forum Pinstripe.

Tha 653 is perfect in every way.

The dial, case, movement size and function etc.

You are a lucky guy.

Enjoy wearing it.

Thanks everyone. I didn’t expect that to be the serial number. The AD told my wife it was limited edition and that’s why it was numbered that way.

The white dual version looks great as well. Not sure which I’d pick - 653 or 654.

It's not LE as such but when I asked at OP Singapore last week, they were sold out and they had no idea if OP were going to produce another run
