Wrist shots: is this PAM 01661 too big?

So I was able to find a local AD which had the PAM in stock. Too big or fine?

Looks good to me. Panerai are big watches, part of their charm IMO

Looks great. No overhang. I'm sure from further away it looks even better.

Based on those pics, it is borderline too big. The lugs are overhanging a little bit. How do you feel about fit? If you think you can rock it, go for it.

Im from another school of thought and with Panerai I don't think the lugs need to be within but the watch itself only as Panerai are large watches meant to be worn big. The 42mm I got thinking of lugs I feel is small now and after wearing the 44mm for a while now I feel I could wear even the 47mm.

1661 is beautiful.IMG20210823152242.jpgIMG20210823152240.jpg

If it’s comfortable it’s not too big.

You know its two big if the strap lugs protrude with just air and no skin or wrist below them…

If both lugs end float in mid air away from your wrist, its time to try on a smaller watch, since wrist size doesn’t increase, even if you body build

Looks fine, just need to tighten the strap and push it back off your wrist joint.

Perfect fit IMO. I have a 7” flat wrist and wear a 47mm Rad. Besides, with Panerai you sort of are throwing conventional thinking to the wind anyway

The allure is the size. If you are concerned, I suggest a 42mm PAM960
