Am I missing something? I do not see any red text on this GMT. It all looks all gilt to me.


Morning Milgauss88, obviously just a trick of the light on the photo made the text looked a deep patina colour/ tropical look almost red , probably should have phrased it better, not questioning the authenticity of your treasured piece, apologies, no offence meant or intended

It is not my watch, my question was literal. I was wondering if there was something I missed
I am aware that some of the 6542s have red print.

Thanks for that. Mines through the 8, and others I had seen were too but I haven’t seen that many. Glad to know.

And it was less repro but rather a service that I had heard just to be clear

Wow. Just when I think my 'dream collection' is nearly complete, I read this wonderful topic after Milton's COMEX one.

Stunning GMT Milton. Beautiful pictures. Makes me want to reread my various GMT and history of Rolex books by Dowling, Goldberger and Mondani since I'm mortgaging the house to buy some of these models (if they ever turn up). Ha
