Hey all,

With newer watches what do you find is the best bracelet removal method? I understand that there is a tweezer-like device out there that grabs the spring bar shoulders from both ends simultaneously such that you can avoid any lug scratching. Is this the case? I'm so used to the old lug hole style. I just want to make sure that I'm doing it the right way incurring the least amount of wear. Your advice is much appreciated.

I've seen this post (http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ng+bar+removal) before and found it helpful but notice that Larry is using only the Bergeon 6111 and I'm wondering specifically if there is any "pinch" type tool that is thin enough to get into the Rolex SEL's? Is my best bet just to stick with buying a 6111 and do them one at a time? My sense is that that is the case...

Some people swear by the Bergeon 6825-PF, with a slight bit of grinding still being necessary.

Then there's the Rolex tool 3200, which only ADs can source.

I haven't used either of them, but think about getting the Bergeon.

There is the Bergeon tool and a clone offered by Esslinger.

I purchased one and the 1mm tips do work with my Exp I and Exp II bracelets.
The ends can be done one at a time but I think the pliers tool makes it easier.
