Icon2 Limited Divers 2018

This forum needs a poll, so I'd like to ask which of these three Limited Edition 2018 Seiko divers you prefer. I've just given ref number and colours for easy identification, as well as production numbers.

Each also has its own web page, which are worth a look if you haven't seen them.

SLA019 Green (1,968 pieces)

SLA025 Black (1,500 pieces)

S23626 Gold (1,978 pieces)

SLA 025 was my choice Adam but I am not sure how it would be on my wrist?
It is one huge puppy.
I like the 10 beat movement.

Thickness: 15.65 ㎜
Diameter: 44.8 ㎜

Does Au$8800 sound about right?

The green SLA019 is 15.5mm tall but sits pretty well on my wrist, as the lower half of the case angles inward at about 45 degrees making it look slimmer on the wrist. I imagine the 025 would be similar. AUS$8800 sounds high, I thought the US price is around 5.4k. I'm thinking if I should the 025 or the Tuna, having already bought (and voted for) the 019.

I'm definitely tempted, and they won't be on the market till September so I still have time to try on a Tuna and get an idea of how they feel. Reading across the forums, watch sites and some social media, it seems most of the excitement is for the 019, then the 025. I'm not sure that the Golden Tuna will be so popular.

I voted for the all black as I own a Hulk and not an all black right now. All three are good looking watches.

The high beat movement of the 025 is excellent and my choice of the three. I nearly purchased the 025 the other day and if I didn't have the SLA017 I might have just gone for it. But I have no regrets with my SLA017 notwithstanding the high beat movement of the SLA025 which is magnificent.

However, I have the 017 and I prefer this to any of the three above due to its physical size and its dial/hands/bezel and crown with 'seiko' branding.

Just my personal choice.

I voted none because I am hoping for a new Shogun SBDC029 in another color than black.

I definitely like the SLA025 the best.

I just had a new SBDC061 delivered, it's the "reinterpretation" of the SLA025, comes on a bracelet. It's a great size on my 7" wrist but the QC on the watch is total crap. The chapter ring is misaligned and the bezel action somehow goes from 120 click to 60 clicks as you rotate it around. Something is gumming up underneath when you get to about 4:00 or so.

Now I have to send it back to Japan. Not happy.

Thanks for the link. They all look good in that video...pity there are no subtitles, though.

Sure is, Adam. I just picked it up yesterday. I had always wanted a MM300 but never moved on it because I never thought it would be discontinued. Then when they inroduced the SLA019 I was smitten, the green looked great in the press photos from Basel. Then seeing your real-life photos sealed the deal, I had to have it.

So...thanks for making me spend money!
