How long the power reserve of a Seiko 5 will last?

It's been 45 hrs so far on my drawer and still running. I thought it was suppose to be 36 hours of power reserve.

If it's the newer 4R36 movement, the power reserve is about 50 hours.

7s26 are hard to figure out as there's no manual winding. You have wind it as much as you can with hand movement and wear it regularly.

This is why seiko introduced the 4r36 which is essentially the manual wind and hack capable version of the same movement. I anticipate they'll eventually introduce this newer movement to most models which currently carry 7s26 but perhaps not most of the 5s and SKX (although there's a rumor they are on the SKX at least)
