This was the car Porsche built that pissed off the 500 R owners.

Congrats to both you and your husband. Enjoy and drive in good health?

Congrats, I am biased, but I think the 911 is the pinnacle of motoring, and yes, you need a Daytona now!

Hey SG56
I can just hear those pipes!! You can roar by my house any day, and hopefully, let me share the passenger seat for a joy run with you!

Congratulations on that beauty!

Beautiful car and story

What a great story and a fabulous car! I've owned several Porsche automobiles and still love them (in spite of the fact that I drive a C7 Z06 Corvette these days). Check out NASA (National Auto Sports Association). I instruct for them and they hold high performance driving events nationwide. A car with performance capabilities like yours deserves some track time! Enjoy.

Fantastic story, and I know where you're coming from, my father passed at 50, and all I had to remember him by was an old dinner jacket.

As I was reading, I started to think the post was about the pen alone.....

Scrolled a bit further down and saw that gorgeous Porsche, lord thunderin', what a gorgeous beast.

Congratulations, and thanks for a great story....

Congrats on a special, and some would say the pinnacle of automotive dream cars! I love the color combo.

I’ve learned The 4S has slightly different driving characteristics than the Rear Wheel drive. It will feel slightly more planted. The 4S won Motor Trend Best Drivers cars one year and the 2S the year prior!

How are you liking the new found torque of the later model?

THank you! I will check out NASA for sure! Can't wait for track time. The first one is in June. The dealer said i'm on the list :) Wouldn't miss it for anything.

I absolutely love it. Chicago does not have any twisty roads, but there's this frontage road, right in my backyard. Been test driving there a little :)
I spent a bit of time researching mounting options for my radar detector. Hell, i'm not driving without it!!! LOL Can't wait to do a track day!

I hate to say it, but your car purchase has brought out three days of truly lousy weather. I imagine at some point the rain will stop.

Hahahahaha!!

It's a bit difficult to go fast, as the radar detector just flies at me, so i have to hold it with the right hand, then shift, then hold, then shift

Ordered the rear window mount and the cable to tap into the dome lights section.

Thank you guys and gals who suggested the rennlist.
