FSLY isn't going anywhere, and it wasn't one of the ones I was thinking about selling out of (along with SE and LVGO). The future growth potential of these 3 stocks is large, and my cost basis for FSLY is low ($45), so it was always one that I would've stayed in regardless.

My main concern was big tech and the drop-off on Friday signaling a bigger drop across the board. Luckily that didn't happen yesterday, and the good factory news out of China might bring good news today as well; it seemed to lift the Asian markets.

Our direct deposit for stocks hits today, so as always, will be looking to add on any weakness.

Always good to see more positive developments on the vaccine front, but not sure this will influence the market as we’ve had companies like Moderna (not a shareholder)already surpass this level of progress.

I'm paying attention but trying to vacation, the business impact to the islands is severe and it is sad to see.

Stay safe out there, and do enjoy!

Sad to hear about the impact to both entire countries, as well as to small business owners. Saw a lot of the effects in Daytona Beach this weekend, with all the restaurant and bar closures...many probably for good.

More good news keeping the market moving up.

For every piece of bad news, there's good - and vice versa. Sideways trading continues on.

FDX with the huge earnings beat after hours. Good to hear that after NKE's terrible miss last week.

Thanks, the USVI is really hurting without the cruise ships. Many businesses have not opened at all, some may start to reopen tomorrow as there will be more guests on island with hotels opening and more flights. This is a giant house of cards and everything affects everything else.

Safe travels. Be well and stay safe! Stay off the boards

What made you go now and not postpone? We were supposed to go to PC, DR on Sunday. Flights not happening until 7/1 and our resort opening 7/22, so we had no choice but to postpone. Not sure when we are going...

Because there was no reason to postpone, frankly the USVI is far safer than the mainland.

It is interesting (but perhaps not surprising) that phase 1 results from PFE can bring the whole market up, while positive phase 1 news yesterday from INO doesn't do much and tanks INO share price by 20% two days in a row.

I’m also up 35% on peleton. And I think that’s only going north from here.

For us HRTX holders, it looks like it's recovering nicely from the fall Monday. That encourages me that there is enough support here to keep on holding.

Tempted to add more (to lower cost basis) but really, don't I already have enough? LOL

I bought in again when it dropped. I think I added around $12 or something. I did the same thing with FB when it dropped, probably got in around $210-211 or so on that one.

I scooped another 1k shares at $14.06 on Monday but otherwise going to let it ride for a period of time and see what's shaking. Only pulled my weighted average down to $19.31.

Tended to sit in the $16-18 range after the first CRL, guessing that's where it's going to sit now.

I'm pleased with the way it has come back. A LOT of Instiutiutional Investors in this stock. Your average investors has no idea who Heron is or the products they have let alone HTX-011/HTX-034. After approval it's going to be great! I'm in HRTX for the long haul! Good Luck Everyone!

Once gyms re-open do you think it’s price will start to fall? I have no idea.

Good article on the high valuations in the current market. A lot of people have equated this to the dot-com bubble, but I think investing in the best / most valuable companies will always trump current trends.

I'm big on FSLY, SE and LVGO for growth - but that's also because I've done my hw and believe that they are at the top of their game and have a competitive advantage over others. Many in today's market, like the new Robin Hood crowd, just chase the hot name.

I've read countless threads of people saying things like "I invested here because of the name / a friend told me about it (or Cramer for that matter)/ I read about it in trending news - what does the company do?", which is obviously not the best way to invest.

Quote:
“It’s not at all uncommon at the start of a new bull market for there to be widespread and frightening problems,” said Jim Paulsen, chief investment strategist at Leuthold Group, in an email to Barron’s. “But that has never stopped the stock market from rising early in a new economic expansion.”

Stocks trade around 22 times earnings, based on a blend of current and 12-month forward estimates, says Paulsen. That is high historically, but it was nearly as high at the start of the past three economic recoveries in the early 1990s, 2002, and late 2009.

Another Voodoo accounting jobs report. Only a 10 day sampling for June and a lower than normal response rate. Opportunistic and false narratives regarding the economy and the cure of the week releases to feed the news cycle will come to no good end. The pattern of manipulation is obvious and now beyond embarrassing.

Does not look good for gyms to reopen soon.

I read that 25% of gym goers never go back. We took a closer look at how much we spent on gym membership and personal training and we were shocked.

LULU bought a stay at home exercise company. I am long LULU. Yoga pants are the new business casual.

My gym opened up this week and it was pretty dead. I would say approximately 30% of the normal crowd. Virginia has done fairly well with the covid numbers trajectory for now so I'm sure it will pick up with time but I have no idea how long it will take to get back to normal.
