Couldnt take it after reading all the monster threads and looking at the pics....i just had to have one!

Nice going Chris!!!

You will like it.

I am wearing mine on black NATO. Have ordered an Orange NATO and a thicker / heavy duty NATO as well. I was advised by Sunburst / Joji that I may need thinner springbars if I want to wear a thick NATO.

I want to resize the bracelet, but the pin / washer system seems a bit cumbersome. I have a website tutorial another TRFer posted...but that will be for a weekend task!

Honestly, both are excellent choices ! Be it black, or orange, both of them are fantastic watches that will last you for many years of service !
Congrats on the monster ! I just bought a Black Monster last week and have worn it everyday since last Thursday ! So far, she's about -25 seconds in a week ! Simply fantastic for a $200 automatic !

I just received my BM today! After hearing all the good words here on TRF, I just had to get one for daily use... I mean, everyone one here as great taste (obviously), but who would have thought- a "Seiko Monster"?

It’s only been on my wrist a few hours, but so far so good.

Yeah Baby...

Orange!

Oranges!!!

The watch with the Black NATO strap is my newest...it was a replacement for the USED Watch I was sold - the one in the second photo. The seller at Amazon shipped me a scratched used watch, but replaced it.

Hey Rob,

Just a week or so ago. Only got one watch after returning a watch sold to me as new...but was USED / scratched. Got it from an Amazon seller.

So I have ONE monster. Quite cool as a low-price kickaround Automatic!

I saw the watch advertised for $175+ or so... but the site was actually out of stock. I paid about $200.

Yep,Seiko makes a great watch for the dollar value!!!
As a kid,Seiko was my first and most favourite watch there was...I still have a Seiko diver from 96' that I bought new and wore for 18 months straight!!
Just pulled it out actually last weekend and started reminiscing of the good ole day's....(simpler times!)!!
Very nice Bill, love the stand out orange..

I kinda like it. I think if it had blue hour markers I would like it better. BTW, nice pictures, I really like it with the oranges.

Actually the grinding action the SEIKO crown has bugs me...but getting used to it.

Just kidding. I would love a Rolex or PAM right about now.
