Insights would be greatly appreciated

Hi all: i’d greatly appreciate your insights and observations regarding (1) the originality (bezel dial hands etc) and (2) overal condition of this 1680, 5MM.

Thank you in advance!

Thanks so much. So, if I understand, that means technically a replacement insert?

Not at all, it's the correct one, nothing is wrong.
Ask for a UV shot, make sure engravings are perfect and case not too polished.
Your pictures are... poor to say the least!
Pearl might be Luminova?

It's 2020, there's no extra cost for color photos. ;-)

Interestingly, the 1680 white sub has a black dial and white plots which may cause a color pic to look BW.

Yes, I tried to make a humorous comment about photos that appear to be very washed out, but it was obviously a bad joke.

Add some better and diverse pictures :-) You'll get plenty analysis!

Again, ask for UV shots. I got burned once, hands were painted to match plots.

Yes, great call, I have already requested UV and other shots. Will post additional pics as well. I appreciate everybody’s time and responses

I wouldn’t say over polished, I’d say badly polished, there is plenty of meat left on that case.
