As long as the srp777 turtle is still in production, I’m happy. Replacing it with this waffle dial model would be a mistake I think.

I picked up the new Green King Turtle yesterday from my AD. I like the updates and I can tell a difference with the sapphire crystal and bezel. The crystal appears clearer and the bezel has a richer look to it. I don't mind the cyclops, as I own a Nemo that has the same one and it does help and look good, to me. I was only going to initially get the Green version but the Blue and the Black on the bracelet will be purchased as soon as they come in. I don't see these watches as a replacement for some of my other Turtles just a different version.

The Black an the Blue dial versions of the King Turtle came in at my AD and I had the opportunity to see them at evening event Thursday. Bought both on Friday. The Blue version comes on a black silicone strap but I changed it out for the blue strap that came with my Nemo and I think it looks better. I believe all three of these watches are keepers in my Turtle collection.

William that's a very nice watch. Congrats. I haven't seen one in person yet but am thinking about going into Toronto to the dealer there that carries a large collection. I would like to handle one, to me the green looks the nicest.

What are the prices like on these? I have seen big differences in retail between JDM and USA BM.

How is the screw down crown action? Is it gritty?

i like the green one alot...

The black dial one on the bracelet is $695, The Green one and the Blue one are $525. Fair prices for the upgrade in my opinion. The Screw down crown action is as good as my SLA033 or my SLA023. The green dial is great. I am going to wear it for a few weeks on the rubber strap and then switch it over to a turtle bracelet to see how I like it.
