Curiously, I often lose 2-4 golf balls per round and now I find I am losing flys about every 4-6 hours I’m on the water! (I stream fish in a very tight area).
Now you can combine the sports/pastimes and use your hip waders for finding your lost golf balls.

These two hobbies are now a form of recycling.

The planet thanks you.

Never been a fisherman but I do get it.

It's the prefect combination of Zen and drinking.

With an occasional fish thrown in.

It would be pretty hard to fly fish and drink at the same time. Now if you are catfishing, guzzle away.

You do realize that they don't swing that hook around like a boomerang all day.

Those are just pictures to show the wife.

Here's the real action shot.

No kidding!

Took my boys to one of the local fish hatcheries. They have a few large holdovers on display. As soon as my 6 year old saw it... dad get the pole out of the car.

I have been a fly fisher for more than 50 years, yes I am old, and in my opinion, the gentle art is just the best for destressing the head.
I tie my own flys, nothing like getting good fish on your own fly. I only practice catch and release.
