I have never met my AD

My AD is out of state and was introduced to me by a mutual friend. We have done business for many years and he has treated me very well with hard to get items. Am I the only one who has never met his AD face to face?

Yes but not watches. Photography related. We trusted each other blindly.

Somehow I get the feeling this is by his choice.

I was unable to get any of the models I was looking for locally so I asked around for other options. I guess my question was whether others are using dealers no where near where they live.

Is it just "Your AD", or can others buy from them?

Thats great. I am maybe considering an option like that to maybe avoid sales tax. I have property in Delaware but its such a hassle since its an 4 hour round trip for me

Best of luck. Try a smaller market location.

Is there any ADs in Alaska? or if you can make suggestions. I also read somewhere that some ADs don't do business over the phone?

I do not use the AD that is closest to my home. I go about 30 minutes further away than the local AD. ~ 1 hour drive

Calling the two Delaware ADs in the hopes of saving sales tax may be a waste of your time. As I’m sure you can imagine a lot of people have that same idea. I also have a property in DE so I stopped in to ask what their situation is. It seems that they are inundated by requests from out of state residents specifically for this reason. For hard to get pieces at those ADs you have to live locally.

Oh no I think you understood me wrong it's actually the opposite. My AP and regular AD all offered me to send my purchases to my Delaware address so they dont have to charge me sales tax. I just find it to be a hassle to drive from New York to get it.

Where in Florida are you?

My AD is cool ... from his father and down to him! He just opened a new store in Brickell City Center. Has Patek as well.
