Southern Florida Beach Suggestions?

We are interested in a get away early March. Looking at Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Miami , etc
Would like a full service hotel ideally on or with easy access to the beach.
Many of the prices we are seeing is sky high, $700 a night, etc
Also don't want to send up in there in the middle of kids spring break.

Any suggestions?

Thanks !

So many beaches in SW and SE Florida it’s almost impossible to start without more info from you. I winter in Naples and our beaches are some of the nicest around. The Gulf tends to be calmer most days than the Atlantic side. The Gulf side also tends to be a little quieter in the way of nightlife than Lauderdale or Miami. I’m not saying one is better than the other, just that they are different.
Marco Island, just south of Naples, has a beautiful, wide and flat beach with some nice hotels on it. Check out Hilton and Marriott there.
The Keys have some nice resorts around Islamorada and Marathon. A quick Google or Yelp search will turn up some options. Also, Siesta Key, Anna Maria Island and Captiva all have beautiful beaches. Same with St. Pete’s Beach and Indian Rocks.
Good luck in your search.

What you are looking for will garner some prices that you are seeing. It’s going to be tough to find cheaper for a full service hotel. I would rent a private condo on the beach from VRBO or web sites like that. Beautiful places and a little cheaper.

I live in SE Florida. I prefer the beaches and the people on the gulf side.
