I have heard two from here. One is alan furman and the other is swissluxury.com. I don't have experience with either (yet).

If you want to go preowned, the www.preownedrolex.com site is said to be a good one, too.

Another vote for Bernard Watch!
Old World Jewelers is also a very honest dealer with clean stock.

"Grey Dealer"

I'd be grateful if someone would post a precise definition of the term "grey dealer." Is it a non-AD who gets his supply, not from Rolex, but from ADs? How does buying from a grey dealer affect your post-purchase relationship with Rolex and the RSCs? Will an RSC service a grey dealer watch?

Many thanks.

I would recommend my dealer, Gary Loyjack out of Pennsylvania. Honest and straight up, very reliable on shipping, prices are among the best I've seen. He's on E-bay under the name "buckojoe" or you can call him direct at 570-499-1492. Usually has the ability to get you more than he has posted on his e-bay store.

Capetown Diamonds in Roswell ,GA. www.capetownstore.com. Local family business in existence for (I believe) over 30 years. Jonathan and Carl Marcus are good people. I've known them for years, and have bought/sold a fair number of watches with them.

I can recommend them without any reservation.

I agree. Gary (last name spelled Loyack) has been around for years and well regarded here and another popular Rolex web site.

DGSE.com...............Dallas gold and Silver Exchange. Great folks, stand behind these Rolex's, great prices 2 year warranty and in house service for 1/2 the price of Rolex.

Bernard Watch was a pleasure to deal with, although you could probably find better prices buying directly from an owner. Although I was unable to buy from Cayce (preownedrolex.com) he was good to deal with.

Just a note regarding the dealer buckojoe. I purchased a watch from him several years ago. The watch was genuine but delivered with a defect. He insisted that I send it to rolex for repair before getting "his jeweler" to look at the watch. Resulted in quite a hassle and an experience I would not like to experience again.

We have purchased several from Steve at AboutTime.com. Very reliable and you get the original 2-year Rolex warranty. I even have a couple of testimonials posted on the website.

There are several I'd trust.

TempoKing has my vote when I'm ready for a white gold DayDate.
Or to refer anyone who wants a fast, very fair deal.

John Luton, who pops up on TZ with fantastic, clean deals, is a contender. But his sell within minutes.

Braunschweiger, in New Jersey, is dropping their AD status.
One would find them very nice with which to deal. Unbelievable when one considers it is still from an AD.

Discounts similar to that of our famed Tempo King, perhaps exceeding slightly, when one includes shipping, etc.
And you get the Rolex two year warranty. But you are limited to their stock.

Bernard Watch returned my emails promptly, and has great information. I'd trust them.

I also bugged the crap out of SwissWrist, and to a lesser extent, SwissLuxury.
I'd buy new from either, and maybe pre-owned as well.

However, I finally decided to buy from a collector who has one too many watches in his pile.
After all the checking I did, I'm comfortable I can sell the watch for what I paid, if my tastes change.
It should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. New pictures will be available in time.
