Random Observation

It's just struck me that the majority of "nice" watches I see out and about in the real world are worn by men. By contrast, when I'm at work, the majority of the high-end time pieces seem to be worn by women. A crude estimate would be about 70%. This isn't because I'm the only man. At a rough guess, it's a 50:50 split between men and women.

The obvious disclaimer is that this is based purely on my observation not any sort of data but it's a bit of a gentle curiosity to occupy an idle moment. Has anyone else noticed similar trends?
