Tudor sub 7928 parts, help please
Hi all,
First sorry if this is not the correct place for this. Please advise if not and I will move it. I have co.e in to posetion of a Tudor sub 7928. There were a few things that didn't look right so I had it looked at, it turns out the dial, hands and insert ring are not right. So, long story short... I am looking for dial, hands and insert for a 1962 Tudor sub 7928. Any leads or advice on this would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance. Simon |

Share some pics will help. An original dial for a 1962 7928 is going to be prohibitively expensive, service dials about 1 - 2k USD.
Linesiders is a good source of information here.

So I understand it will be pricey, thus doesn't bother me to much, current investment atm is next to zero. I want to bring it back to its former glory. I'll try upload photos but I need to take low quality pics as at the moment all the ones are to high res.

Is Rolex saying the parts are after market? Because the watch looks quite pleasant as is. Band is wrong though.

Well dial has small rose looks period correct for the 1960s and nice patina, possible bezel insert has been changed but thats quite normal for watches of that age.

I can highly recommend Linesiders - he has a nice 7928 with papers available at the moment - send him a message. I'd suggest buying the 7928 with papers, then sell the remaining parts once you have a nice watch.
