I live in the South, so it’s Merry Christmas. When I’m traveling, it’s Happy Holidays or whatever they use. Doesn’t really matter to me which one people prefer to use but I have a few friends who are wrapped way way too tightly over this.

Who cares about the facts if we talk about religions? It is not a birthday, but a Memorial day.

Also, it was chossed wisely: They selected the darkest day + added three days (> 24 Dec NIGHT). This is the how we can remember to Jesus resurrection as it was written in the Bibla, like He resurrected on the third day. A perfect day to commemorate God's reunion. And so that, at least on this day, we don't argue about certain human facts that always destroy peace.

If someone does not celebrate these days, let it be his faith. But let me also be allowed to celebrate these days with dignity, and not have to worry and pay attention to whose feelings my peaceful and good wishes might hurt.

So, Merry Christmas

Same here. Always Merry Christmas from me and our family. To my knowledge, I don’t think I’ve ever offended anyone by saying it.

Right. They are positive wishes, no matter where you're from or what your beliefs are.

Same here. Doesn't make a difference to me what you do or don't celebrate, it is my genuine hope that you enjoy your day off from work & are healthy.

If I know a person’s faith I try to wish them well using their named celebration. So it’s a “Joyous Hanukkah” a "Happy Kwanza” and a "Merry Christmas” or whatever else a friend celebrates and/or believes in.

Where I live, it’s Merry Christmas. In PC world, I will sometimes say Happy Holidays. Either way, it’s the best time of the year.

What’s your preference?
I say ‘Happy Holidays, Boas Festas, Bonnes Fêtes de fin d’année” nowadays. Merry Christmas is too biased and relevant to so few people (including me even if I am christian-educated).

Merry Christmas, and definitely not "Xmas"

I'm non-religious and I have no objection to using the term Christmas. I'm happy to say it and happy to receive it.

Happy Cult Celebration Season...

...this way you cover all bases as there are many celebrations, due to different cult belief systems globally. We live in a multi-polar world folks.

Thx, tho kinda surprised as Happy Hanukkah was forgotten and there's Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, Bodhi Day, Diwali... and of course Festivas.

Why not celebrate them all

Coming in alittle late, but Merry Christmas to all TRF members. Special thanks to Steve and the many moderators for keeping "The World's Finest Rolex Community" just that. Also want to thank the many TRF members who willingly donate to help offset Steve's cost. You all would be very shocked to know the money and time needed to facilitate keeping a forum this size up and operational.

While I am here.....Happy New Years ! May 2024 be the best ever for you and your families.

Sincerely,

Mark

Merry Christmas - don’t care if some don’t like it. That’s what it is. That’s what it’s always been. That’s what I’ll continue to call it.

It's Merry Christmas from me. I also wish my non-Christian friends well at Eid, Diwali, Chanukah where appropriate. No-one gets offended or bent out of shape
