A not very popular incoming...

I know that the Cellini line doesn’t get a lot of love here but I have really become fond of dual-time watches and have been wanting a dress watch as well. I had seen this in the metal at the dealer and feel that it’s thickness didn’t rule it out as a dress watch, especially on someone my size. That combined with the fact that my wife loved it made me start searching the classifieds as at MSRP it is quite steep with some compelling competition.

They don’t seem to come up often used but Briboxer had one pop up for sale in like-new (still had the sticker on the back) condition for a fantastic price. A wire transfer later and she was here the next day. LOVE IT! Pics don’t do justice to the beauty of the guilloche dial. Couldn’t be happier. I am going to source a black strap to increase its versatility.

I absolutely love the Cellini style, they're just a bit overpriced for me. I'd probably opt for a Calatrava or Lange in the same price bracket.

I cross shopped this against the Lange 1 and used I couldn't find one close to the price I scored this one at. But I agree, the Lange is a beautiful watch- I showed both to my wife and the dial on the Cellini was the winner for her!

In not a Cellini fan at all...but that one is great. Coin edge+dial+complications = beautiful

I saw that one and almost jumped on it. I think they are gorgeous. I'll have one eventually but they just don't pair up with my lifestyle well at the moment (casually slobby dad of two young kids... hahaha!).

That is stunning!

I’ve noted the thickness of cellinis as well. Yours doesn’t look as thick as the Cellini moon phase. How thick is it?

It looks so fantastic on you! Huge congrats!!

I measure it at 12mm so not skinny by any means. I know that many think that is too thick for a dress watch. My wife thinks really thin watches look "dainty" and that is the last look I am going for :)

That’s actually thinner than my Tudor north flag (which is deceptively thick) so I know I could handle it. I’m curious about the moon phase, though I’d guess it clocks in at about the same 12mm.

Thanks! And enjoy that beautiful watch!

Congrats! It's a beautiful piece, and of the 3 current versions, the dual time is the winner in my eyes. I consider the moonphase in its own league. So, is that the latest swag, Rolex pen in the box?

That is a pen Briboxer included branded with his "Boxer Time." He also included a Boxer Time polishing cloth which I thought was nice
