Cartier - Santos Demoiselle or Tank Francaise?

I’ve tried to convince my wife that a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 31 with a red grape face would be a nice addition to her jewellery collection. Unfortunately she’s not a great fan of automatic watches because it would only be worn as a dress watch and with little wrist time she can’t be bothered with winding and resetting the time before she wears it. So I’m now looking at Cartier quartz watches, specifically a new Demoiselle or a pre-owned Tank Francaise, maybe an older watch with the Mother of Pearl face.
Not knowing Cartier that well is there an obvious choice or are both watches similar with just the aesthetics the only difference?
Any advice and opinions are very welcome.

.....a new member here and not able to post pictures yet. Just passed down to my wife a pristine 2002 model Cartier tank chronograph in stainless with a custom diamond case
Very light on the wrist and the battery life is around 5 years. She has always preferred Cartier over Rolex and this makes number 3 in her collection now
