I find this kind of thread interesting. I don't have tattoos, and really don't have many friends with them. I'm 59, which probably explains a lot of it. I tend to "picture" people on here, who I don't know, as looking something like me. And this shows otherwise. I wouldn't normally think tattoos and Rolex would have a great overlap and even less so with Patek and tattoos, but it obviously isn't true.
Like with watches, not all tattoos are "my style," but I can appreciate their beauty.

When I got mine over 35 years ago, pretty much everyone I knew with a tattoo was military, a biker, or in prison. Tattoos carried a bit of a stigma then, which may explain why you don't see many in our age group. I only have two (low quality stencil jobs), and won't be getting any more, but I do appreciate the high quality art a tattoo can be. |

I’m 50, have quite a few, and probably will add some. Every single one is there for a particular reason or belief, they all have a personal meaning to me . |

Saniderm is good. Sometimes I could leave it on for 3 days. Perfect when you have to fly the next day after your session. But as soon as liquid is building up underneath you have to take it off. The healing time is much quicker than without Saniderm. I used it on my color tattoos. I have a lot. Not visible. Some portraits and a lot of my “ yellow brick road “ stuff.

Will have to look into it. Hate the feeling of flying so soon after a tattoo and not being able to go to the gym Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You are so right. But my appointments for the next session often are 3 or 4 months out and I just don’t want to cancel it...

To all of you who are into it, there appears to be a problem with some of the ink out there. Certain inks being recalled, containing bacteria. Godspeed.

Well, maybe I’ll do it on my 60th. |
