Glad to hear it, Paul. Hope you make it out faster than expected.

If you get the nurse on a date, you will have permanent care

That was my thinking Nick, but I actually married one once... didn’t exactly work out

May I ask how you are doing? Please feel free to PM me if you would rather not make your medical condition public, but I would like to know what to expect from some that has been there.

Than you in advance

Great news Paul. You sound like you're well on your way to recovery. Thanks for keeping us updated, and remember, leave them nurses alone.

Glad you have had a successful surgery. And now have the time to address any post-op issues. If they give you 5-days I suggest taking them - no need to rush things now. Get well!

Congratulations Paul! Sounds like you’re on the road to recovery, and in the fast lane.
Don’t push too hard too fast, no heavy lifting, etc. You don’t want to end up with a hernia.

i read somewhere that spending an excessive amount of time sitting in parked cars outside of a swede's house can lead to medical complications.

good you nipped this problem in the bud and glad to hear all is well

I am so glad that you came through your surgery with flying colors!!
Diverticulitis can happen to anybody.
The profile you mentioned fits the usual suspects, though

The best news is that the healthiest folks pre-op are those who have the fastest recoveries post-op

To a very swift return to health
