What's going on with the watches on the RealReal?

What are these marks on the dials? At first I thought it was the way they were taking the pictures but it isn't on every dial. Only in the past six months did I start seeing what looks like oil stains on the dials. It's probably on 30% of the watches they have now. Either somebody over there is killing the dials with some crazy oil additions or it's an amateur photographer taking terrible pictures. Either way it would cause great pause before I bought a watch that looked like that.
