Guess what I have!

The bloody shingles!! This sucks, but at least it explains the blistering rash on my torso and the intense pain. At least I know I'm not dying now, lol

All I can attest it to is too little sleep for too long and too much stress!

Yuck. Is there anything you can do for it, other than endure it?

The doc gave me some meds to stop it before it gets worse. She said the rash would just dry up and go away by itself. Really does hurt though!

Brucey, that sucks pal, I had a case of that in college. I hope it goes away soon mate. At least it is not 100 degrees outside while you have it, that really sucked.

Sorry to hear about your plight, Bruce. Isn't shingles akin to chicken pox? You must be itching all over....must drive you nuts!!!

Hope you get well soon, pal!!

If you've got shingles, can you come over this weekend and help me on the house? I have a few that need replacing.

Sorry, well... shingles suck. Isn't that the adult version of chicken pox? Must be bloody uncomfortable. Get lots of meds and relax for a few day, me choina!

Thanks guys. I always thought it had to do with chicken pox, but it can be brought on by about any viral infection, stress, etc. I've had a low grade cold and a cough that got worse. I don't regularly get more than 4-5 hours sleep and haven't for over a year. Plus, I've been kinda stressy with this move stuff. It doesn't surprise me that I got something.

Oh, it doesn't itch. It burns.

I remember it feeling like a match being lit under my skin. It was not fun.

Good description Daren! And, it makes you ultra sensitive to temperature. I've been freezing in 60 degree temps, and at night I'm cold yet sweating. It really sucks. The meds are helping, but now I feel bad in a different way. I'll just be glad when it all passes.
