A question has come up about a vintage Tudor that I acquired recently. My Rolex AD isn't sure if it's authentic or not.

The questionable features are 1) the movement appears to be an ETA with no "Tudor" markings, and 2) the model number appears on both lugs but not a serial number.

I thought I'd post some pics in the hope that one of you will be able to tell me whether this watch is authentic or not.

Ehm, the OG POFY DESN and GENSVA engravings are a bit of a give away arn't they?

Doesn't look good. The engravings are wrong so that would indicate the rest is the same.

I hope you didn't pay too much for this, or can get your money back (possible if you paid by credit card, actually, and if it was misrepresented as genuine).

i am shocked that they would fake that thing. real ones are worth only $400 for the head. it looks like the midsize 33mm model as well. H

Agree, how come a Rolex Authorized Dealer couldn't catch this fake? Another fake Rolex AD. Unless this post is a joke.
