interesting thoughts on Geneva vs PP seal. I personally like the Geneva seal - it gives it a more regal look.

Edit it in your camera roll before posting it.

I uploaded photos after resizing them to fit, but they don't orient themselves correctly after I post. I downloaded tapatalk, but they all reorient themselves correctly on the app. Anyone have any advice for this?

I've had challenges too. Using this thread to test loading 2 photos. I find that resizing on my desktop works best, but agree it's a pain.Sub 1.jpgSub 5.jpg

Is there something that I need to do to make my uploaded picture appear inline as opposed to a link to, in this case, a jpg? If I am logged in it will appear inline. If I am not logged in it wont.

Do you want the forum to wright your posts for you too, it really is a very simple task to resize any picture for forum size, a kid of 6 could do it its not rocket science.

It would be more convenient for me that it rain overnight only.

I can not make it so. Neither can I make the Vbulletin software automatically resize or orient any pictures that members throw at it.

That’s fair. I’m on other forums where image resizing does occur automatically. But this forum is great and Tapatalk does the auto resizing so in the end it’s a minor quibble for me. Thanks.

I will repeat my question from above without the image.
Is there something that I need to do to make my uploaded picture appear inline as opposed to a link to a jpg? If I am logged in it will appear inline. If I am not logged in it wont.

Moderators clearly read these messages. They seem to be beating this dead horse of image resizing. It is possible for images to appear inline. Someone knows the correct way to accomplish that. I've looked. I've searched. I've tried an alternative that works elsewhere. I'm sure it is a simple matter.

Thank you. It is my experience, when not logged in, that some images appear inline and some appear as links to attachments. Therefore, my initial question still stands. Your response raises the additional and related question, How is it that some images appear inline and others appear as links to attachments (when not logged in)?

Thank you, again.

Externally linked pics appear to the guest member, attachments don't.

For those who use imgur

Here is the list of all the modifiers for dimensions (not all are always available) :

s = Small Square (90×90)
b = Big Square (160×160)
t = Small Thumbnail (160×160)
m = Medium Thumbnail (320×320)
l = Large Thumbnail (640×640)
h = Huge Thumbnail (1024×1024)

Add the letter that is equivalent to the size you want to potray at the end of the URL string.

i.e.

If the URL ends in abcde and you want the image size to be 1024×1024

abcde becomes

abcdeh
