Which is more difficult to obtain? Thank you.

I'd say equally. Maybe white a bit more.

White, had a discussion with my AD about getting either before my wedding. He said chances are much higher for a black compared to white (They see very few white dials)

All being well they are going to come through.

Even if the white is more difficult to get, the black is (IMO) much nicer!

The white/black combination is too hard for my gentle eyes.
The subdials at the black dial shine and give the watch an exclusive look!

116500 black > 116500 white
116520 white > 116520 black
116500 black > 116520 white

I agree with the above post. White is much harder to come by. I feel that white dial is something I would like now and possibly get tired of later...

White for sure is harder to get but my question is why? I appreciate the similarities to the 6263 and all but has Rolex truly released more black than white? Or is it that old Rolex distribution trick where they release more of one color in one part of the world and equally release more of the other color in other parts of the world, so every one thinks their lesser received color is the rare one.

Last August when I got on the list, I was told I could probably get a black by year end 2016 or a white by mid 2017. I am still awaiting the white.

I imagine they produce a similar quantity of both dials, but the list is longer for white. Based on wait times and gray market prices, I think it is clear that it's tougher getting white. Whether it's better or not is of course personal opinion.

There are more black models for sale on the grey market than white models. Just peruse the classifieds here or on WatchRecon and you'll see.

I would believe that they are both produced equally but for whatever reason the white dial bring a slight premium over the black dial. I believe much of the is driven by the Grey Market.

New SS Daytona--Black or white dial? Which is harder to get?

All of my friends in this part of the world got a Black Daytona C, so I guess the white Daytona C is the elusive one.

Also just find it a bit of an irony that before the Daytona C, the black SS Daytona was a harder piece to get than the white. How a new model can change everything.

White, I was told I would likely be offered black first and lucked out on getting the white.

The black one is beautiful and would be a great daily watch...the white one is so nostalgic which I feel adds to the elusiveness.

Both ADs I work with told me the black is much easier to get, and one of them offered me the same. Tempting as hell as the black is great looking.

Interesting...I recall the black dial being more popular in Asia for the Pre-Ceramic Daytona models. I wonder what is driving the change to white in that region of the world.

Here in the US, every AD I've spoken to said the demand for white is 2-3x what it is for black.

I'm not sure it's correct to assume both colors are produced equally, as this isn't true for other models , e.g. sub. I think it is plausible that fewer white dials are produced if Rolex thinks that black dials on sports watches sell better than white in the non-TRF world.
