Vintage purchase question

Hi all,

I have purchased a non Royal Oak AP (bit of a left field acquisition), and although it is not the normal type of AP I would buy, the actual watch and particularly the movement is stunning. The only information I have is that the reference is 25661 in Platinum and was produced in a series run of 100pcs.

I was hoping to find out if there is a good resource to find out about older models as there seems very little information on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Beautiful engraving on the movement and lovely watch.

Have you tried emailing your local APSC and asking them for more info ? AP is a company keen to keep their history alive, so I would hope they would be able to pull some records for you with more information.

Thank you, the engraving on the movement is about as decorated I have ever seen from AP.

I am assuming this would only give me that same information that is on the papers?
