Tudor Blackshield or Breitling blackbird avenger44?

I really like the look of a matt black watch. I like the Avenger's fit and looks but its PVD on Ti which if dented or scratched will show the bare metal and not ware so well. So I think a ceramic case and bezel would be more durable like the Blackshield although its more bulky. I am thinking to buy preowned as both as both seem to sell for much less than New.

I have a soft spot for the BlackBird Avenger just because my ex had 0ne ( Yeah, I date watch guys ) Naahh.. Don't listen to the critics, the black Ti DLC coating is super durable because I never saw a single scratch or dent on the casing or tang buckle during the entire 3 months I was dating him. Heck ! The 44mm bad ass stealth wears like a 43 if that helps.

Anyway, Megan's timepiece of choice for you is neither one of the above but the Sinn 140A Space Chronograph. That's the watch (or its variant 142) worn by the late German astronaut Reinhard Furrer on board NASA's 9th Space Shuttle Challenger mission in 1985, this was just a few months before the Challenger broke apart 73 seconds into its 10th flight mission on Jan 28th 1986. I think the watch is limited to 500 pieces and one mint condition is actually available on eBay as I speak. Check it Out

So I'll go with the Avenger BlackBird 44 but whatever you choose is Just Fine by me, Sir. Best Wishes, God Speed-Dy

I think the Breitling dial is nicer.

Like the red accents on the Breitling.

Check out the Tudor Black Bay Dark while you’re at it. Not sure I’d go with either of these, but that’s just me

The Tudor for me , but I would consider the black bay dark as well. The black shield despite being ceramic and more resistant to scratches and dangs, seem to be more fragile in case of strong hit the whole case will be cracked or broken

I'd choose Breitling. Tudor FS is a little bit plasticky in feel.

I would choose the Breitling over that fast shield. Looks more balanced to me.
