Faded Pepsi insert GMT 16710

Hello every one,
Do you think the bezel insert is artificially faded? It's a 16710 Y series from 2003.

Thank you

It looks good, but yes, I think it has.

Certainly looks 'interesting' for its age?

Yes, seems to be faded from the inside out, which I believe is a dead giveaway.

It's a cool look, though!

A lot of us don't like the idea of intentionally faded inserts, and with good reason. But when you think about it, it's really not much different than coloring hands to match patina on a dial, or shaving down an acrylic service crystal to give it more of a dome. It's just another form of a mod.

The problem, of course, is with deception, if you're paying more for an insert the buyer describes as naturally faded.

Too young still for such fading.
