What version Sub?

Hey guys what version sub is the one on my photo below?

And what's the best way to go about refreshing it/how much does that cost?

It's my Dad's watch but in 30 years he's never worn it... wondering if I clean it up for him if he'd put it on...or let me! ;-)

It's a 5512.
Only needs the plastic crystal polishing/changing.
I would just get some polywatch and polish the plastic crystal yourself and it will look lovely.
No point in paying for a service if it won't be worn.

And if you don't have polywatch, toothpaste and a soft cloth and a few minutes of rubbing will work beautifully. Maybe a few applications

That’s a beautiful 5512. As others have said, poly watch the crystal and enjoy.

Great looking watch; if it's not been worn in 30 years you need to get it serviced before using it to ensure that you don't cause any damage as the original oils will be long gone leaving the potential for quick damage.

wow

Really nice well worth a bit of TLC but don't rush to have any work carried out until others have commented, if its to be worn then after 30 years it will need a service, but check out the recommendations on the forum of who's best to trust to carry this out for you, all the very best "H"
