It's a Seiko day
I've rarely worn this watch, and frankly I've been on the fence about keeping it, but I also just can't quite bear to part with it. Partly it's probably the bulk of the (otherwise comfortable) band, but since it's warm here today and I'm wearing short sleeves, seems like a good time to break this beauty out of its box.
Edit: Smaller pic size. |

You should keep it. They made a finite amount of the seventeens.
Here is my totally unrelated Seiko. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk |

I'd wear it often. Great '60s styling there

Great watch. I just wish it was larger.

The build quality is really nice and I think it's actually a great size at 39mm. It stays fairly true to the 6217 with a slight bump in size. Looking at this pic though I can see all kinds of fingerprints. I guess that's one advantage to a plastic crystal

Thanks Paul. As a matter of fact I did but it's almost 43mm so I passed. I was at The Mills at Jersey Gardens last friday and the Seiko store had one so while my wife was browsing other stuff there I went inside to try it. Nice watch, nice price but a little too big and I thought it would be just one more watch in the stable so I passed.
