Sorry if I missed it, but has there been an expected release date for a new steel ROC? I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere but it's not on that roadmap?

they didn’t specify, all they said was something along the lines of “we’re starting this year with the rose gold models only” so next year at the earliest

Thanks. Interesting... I might as well jump to a massive conclusion and start a rumour then that there will be no steel ROC with inhouse, only PM :)

(sounds nuts, but who knows in this crazy world)

The regular production ROCs with the new movements? Sure, you can register interest but I would be prepared to wait a long time as gold pieces are actually quite hot and are selling at premiums on the secondary market. I would surmise any boutique/AD would offer these first to existing customers.

The Yellow Gold/Green Dial Limited Edition...very unlikely to go to a new customer. At least if history is any guide.

I think FHB did say that the yellow gold, green dial ROC is mainly allocated to USA, with the rest of the world only getting a small portion of the allocation based on the video...

Now they have gone back to uniform subdials, those ones do jar again.

It's on the release map shown at 23:21 in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vniQNS2lsg

I didn't catch it either during the live event

very cool thanks, why are they holding back on it? explains revolutions watch article that mentioned a CE bezel but only showed the SS versions.

EDIT: Meeting Errol today will ask him about it.

I tried the white gold/ceramic one on in Harrods. If they make the white gold chrono version with blue ceramic and a smoked blue dial then I would definitely buy it.

Tried the RG one this past week. I'm probably a buyer.

I really liked it. Best Code to date imho. They are really coming alive now with the new dials and materials. Here it is on my 7.25 wrist. The rose gold for me 100%

Heard rumors about the 43mm replacing both, how true is that?

Looks a good fit a good colour scheme.

On a different note, it's amazing how 'blind' one can be. The Code has been out for a while now and your pic is the first one that I realised that there's no AP logo, just the name, completely opposite of what they've just done with the new ROOs.

and I think I know about AP...

Just rumours I think, the 44mm seems to have been retired, but there's nothing definitive about the 42mm (other than the new Divers), but we shall no doubt find out in good time.

With cal 4401 moving into the 43mm ROO chronos, the pink gold 41mm ROC and announced for the SS 41mm ROC, it's reasonable to expect that they won't keep the 42mm line around with the old movement. I'd guess the 43mm will replace both 44 and 42, although maybe there's room for a smaller ROO?

Not sure what will happen with the 38mm ROC - I don't think the new movement fits?

frankly doubt it but easier than steel 15500. Just try and establish some rapport - who knows.
