It's been awhile..

I've checked in briefly and that's about it. The past 10 months have had it's ups and downs. In late June we lost my dad. For those of you who know my situation my dad was a big part in helping me with my Rolex obsession. I miss him everyday. Now the up I was able to marry the woman of my dreams on February 13th. We just had our honeymoon. 4 days in South Beach for the Food Network Food and Wine Festival then 5 days in Vegas. First time ever flying. Everything went pretty good. We had a blast! Got to meet some celebrity chefs and see a lot of exciting things. I need to get back in the groove. I really enjoy coming here and communicating with everyone. I look forward to seeing what everyone has been up to.

Hey Chuck - really good to see you back here again!

Very sorry for your loss, but I can empathize with your situation....I met my wife-to-be in 2007, then lost my Dad (who was my best friend) in 2008....we married in 2009 and she's been my rock, friend, and watch enabler sine then.

We're with you mate - take good care and congrats on your nuptials - it only gets better!

Welcome back, Chuck!!!
My sympathy for the passing of your father.

My joy for the start of your new life with your lovely Bride

My wife and I had a similar start in2001-2002 ( her father) and even include Las Vegas as a part of our Honeymoon. 14 years and 3 kids later we are going strong!!!
I wish the same for you,
T

My condolences and my Congratulations Such is life I guess. Things will get better as you have fond memories of your Father, as well you will have a new family of your own to share those memories and create new ones.
