Love yellow dials! I went on a quest to find my Seiko Bumblebee.
How do you like your OP?

Really like the OP, wear it nearly all summer. As soon as the Yellow dial was announced I put my name down and was really lucky to get it, just before it got discontinued.
The OP is a really comfy wear all day in every situation watch, with dial color choices for everyone.
I've been thinking of getting a 34mm white dial OP or date, but unfortunately they don't have the easy link extension that I use all the time. Previously owned a older 2002 15200 date with Salmon dial, traded it in for the DayDate. Wish I had kept the 15200 as well.

Most of them, missing 2 or 3. Bad light in the bank vault.

I fell I will go AP route more and start with PP as well.

Your current collection in one picture + watch talk

The quantity has changed, so has the vintage element, but I’m at my perfect three. Although I enjoy looking at all interesting watches, no desire to change the collection, I’m done !

Nice collection. I'm a big fan of the 2 Ploprofs!

Now that is much more impressive than my collection. Very nice! I like the Planet Ocean. I had an orange bezel one, and then orange highlighted one. The all black is sweet.

Thank you, me too. Had 4 at some point, tried the mesh bracelet but hurts the overall contrast of the watch plus it pulls the hair because of the way the additional links are designed.

Unfortunatelly, these two don’t get much wrist time because I find the rubber strap very very rigid, leaving heavy and itchy marks on the wrist.

So thinking about the mesh bracelet again.

That means it’s time for another Ploprof

I wouldn’t like to see what you spend in a year on servicing and repairs…

I’d be thrown out my own house if I had over 100!

Then I guess I picked the right guy to marry. HE just bought me the silver dial Rolex OP, knowing I already had 100 watches. As for money spent on servicing, it’s the vintage pieces that are expensive. I send them to a Seiko specialist, in the UK, for restoration, and a complete tear down and service. Do to them being 50 years old, they usually need serious work done.

Hahaha, this is the best way to display them all. I’m hesitant to put all mine on here in a photo. Such a different environment in the world today and I worry determined individuals might be able to find us! Hope not…

We both have the ice blue Tissot and the latest model OP, though mine is the silver, not one of the bright colors. Tissot finally released the Powermatic 80 in 35 mm.

I always said that I’ll keep my collection at 4-5 watches, somehow got to 7 and have a hard time letting any of these go at this time. I’d love to get Nautilus or Aquanaut next.

But I always like seeing this lineup. Do you have a current favourite, Grady?

Great collections all round. There's something cool about the focused, smaller collections, as well as the big sprawling ones.

Good thread OP, and love your choices. I'd keep that Seamaster, personally.

Not the best picture I’ve ever taken, but you get the message.

I’ve since added a 114270 that isn’t in this picture.
