So far no luck.
Yeah, I know in NY we're a lot less strict. The old rule was someone had to ask you 3 times before you gave them a petition, now we'll let anyone petition, but they still need to go through proper investigation to get accepted.

If the lights are on you can always just knock and say you're looking for info, I'm sure it would be welcome.

EBR. the best thing for you to do is to contact the secretary of the lodge by mail. Google the Grand Lodge of the state, then look for that particular lodge, there will be contact info available. PS, lots of guys in my lodge have Harley's, we ride to lunch on Fridays!!

Congrats brother.

I was supposed to confer a degree from the east for the first time this Thursday. Our candidate ended up with a last minute scheduling issue. I must say I'm quite relieved.

I'll never forget the first degree that I conferred, nervous doesn't begin to describe it! Good luck when the time comes brother!

Done.

Since February we had voted on another candidate and it turned into a double first degree for my first time in the east. Made for a long night, but went well. I did better for the first candidate then the second for some reason. Need to be prompted once, and forgot a couple words in one of the obligations. I think it was a good night though for our new brothers which is all that matters.

I was surprised how nervous I was starting out, I would have rather had an engine on fire on my plane while at work.

Guys, since there are many of you here, and some claim that the links posted are not accurate, does anyone care to explain to the rest of us what is it about or at least share a link they think is decent?

I was thinking the same thing. Why the 2nd? Hmmm. Perhaps it's like Johnny red and they were planing to make the 3rd equal to Johnny blue. Just a thought.

I am not a Mason and I am not a Catholic, but I was listening to Catholic Answers Live on the way home and the guest, a priest, said that membership in the Freemasons would mean that one could not take Holy Communion.

Don't we have a priest in the Omega forum who could weigh in?
