NFL chit chat 2022 Season

NFL season kicks off tomorrow with the Super Bowl champion Rams hosting the super bowl favorite Bills.

How is your team stacking up this year?

Lots of good storylines

Bills being Vegas favorites to win it all is a real we’re not in Kansas anymore feeling.

Will Brady’s O line troubles spell the end of the GOAT?

Is the hoodie going to pull a rabbit out of his hat or is NE really as disorganized as he’d have us believe?

Is it possible for every team in the AFC west to make the playoffs? What a gauntlet division.

Will Joe Burrow get the protection he needs to repeat his 2021 campaign?

Are the Chiefs still the offensive bar against which others are going to be measured?

How well does Russ cook in the Rockies?

There’s dozens more. What say you?

All I have to say is that as a long time Bills fan, I try not to get too excited.

Should be interesting to see how mac progresses this season. Last year was a great start no doubt. Much like my bills you lost your OC. I think MJ10 will need to do more to have success this year but he hasn’t given us reason to believe he can’t yet. Lord knows he looked better than many in their first season.

as a giants fan watching the yankees pull off an all time collapse i don't want to be a ny sports fan anymore, but also the bar is set low so you can't really be disappointed at this point

gonna just bandwagon a team this year, maybe the chiefs or cards or bengals. very much looking forward to football overall though

Hawks are going to be terrible...yet here I am, taking my son to see them play next weekend against the Niners.

Zero confidence in our QB situation.

It's going to be strange this year watching my Packers play a little defense.
They've retooled that side of the ball with some serious athletes.
Should be fun.

Will the Texans even win 3 games this year? What a train wreck of an organization.

Yanks are depressing indeed. Giants need a QB Danny ain’t got the sauce. It’s always fun to watch the chiefs. If the bills aren’t on I’ll watch them play anyone.

I’m inclined to agree. Seems they are tanking on purpose. Not sure why else you’d have geno smith! Maybe it gets them a nice draft next year.

Rodgers is going to have to once again pull wide receivers out of thin air. Hopefully Lazard heals up quick. I’d be surprised if they aren’t once again walking around with 12+ wins.

you’ve had a good run. Will have to see what Winston can do. I’m not counting the saints out yet. NFC is wide open compared to AFC.

As a Steelers fan, I think they're in for a long season. 8-9 or 9-8 at best. Bills are as local a team as can be to me and I hope they do well. They have a legitimate shot this year.

I feel the Steelers will be surprisingly good. Tomlin’s teams never roll over and considering the condition of Big Ben the last year or two it might be a boost to have some youth behind center. Worst case you get an early look at pickett.

Jags fan here. Much improved roster this year. Hopefully means a few wins. Division is weak and up for grabs.

Bills fan here since watching those Super Bowls in the 1990s...

Other than that I am really curious to find out how the Packers will do with their subpar receiving corps.

I'm a Miami Dolphins fan. I have high hopes every year, that get shot down by week 7 or so. Hoping for a better year, but I have my doubts. We shall see.

THIS

However, we are really, really good. It’s not impossible to dream of a Lombardi parade down Delaware Ave at this point.

Still, there’s a reason they play the games on sundays (and Thursdays, Mondays, whatever). Fine to be betting favorites and all, but I just want wins on the field.

Josh Allen’s a man on a mission and I really believe in that young guy. Go, you Buffalo Bills! 🦬

Does Vegas ever guess right? I think they've cursed the Bills to another heart shattering disappointment.

Russ wasn't cooking that great in Seattle. Sherm isn't entirely crazy, Russ missed a lot of easy reads. I don't see him getting better in Denver.

I’m not sure being a Sabres fan is any better these days…other than there having been little drama, since there’s been no doubt whatsoever that we have sucked for the last decade(ish)! So, yay for being put out of our misery quickly on the hockey rink..?

Fellow Steeler fan here. I see 7-10 for this season. The team has weapons, but the offensive line is absolutely horrid, might be the league's worst.

And, Mitch Trubisky is your starter. He practices very well, but gets vapor lock whenever the defense doesn't look like the practice team. How many timeouts did the Bears burn preventing a Trubisky delay of game while he tried to decipher the defense? He must be the sacrificial QB while they sort out their O-line. He'll be on injured reserve by week 8.
