Propecia anyone?

Since I know my fellow TRF members pay attention to detail, I wanted to see if anyone has tried propecia, and see what type of experiance they have had on it... I just started.

I'm been on it for about a year. Honestly, it seems to work and my wife said my hair looks much thicker. I'm reading that France might ban Propecia because of its negative effect on testes...

I tried it a few years ago and it did work. I just decided I didn't like taking meds for something that was not absolutely necessary.

I thought about it a couple of years ago, but the negative side effects seem scary. Here's a quote from the USA today article: "About 8% of men taking the drugs reported erectile dysfunction, and 4.2% reported reduced libido, they found, compared with 4% and 1.8% of men receiving placebo, respectively." http://www.usatoday.com/yourlife/hea...air-loss_N.htm

It does seem that erectile dysfunction and low libido are possible side effects. If that is not an issue with you then why not............. Based on your cool avatar you might consider the impact of 007 becoming Oh Oh No!

I just the article. thanks for sharing. I have read stuff like that before. I cant help but think it is grossly negligent of me to be on the stuff. I am only in my 20's... but it seems like many have had great success with no side effects.

Same here. I'm not sure it thickened or increased my hair, but it clearly stopped the progression of hair loss.

I am a few weeks shy of 40, I have lost all that I am ever going to loose... so shock lose in the recipient area was not a concern for me...

The best solution is choosing the right parents.

Yeah, but they didn't get my crooked nose, knobby knees, and colorblindness either. It's always something.
