A magnetic expedition to South America...
I recently went on an month long expedition to South America. Me and my wife are both scientists and were exploring a mountain range at 11000ft at night. Yes, we do research on nocturnal butterflies, most commonly known as moths...
To the point, I brought my trusty Tudor Sub, which was serviced recently and was running quite accurately +2/day. But after the third night, it started gainning time, I would reset it every 2 days and then it gained time again. It was not crazy jus like +10/day... So the trip ended, lots of cool findings, probably new species... So back in Florida, I checked the timing with my timegrapher and indeed the watch wqs +13s/day. I figured lets run it through the demagnetizer....and voilą, watch is back to +2s/day... |
