i think with all the madness this past week we had a LOT of people constantly logging on and checking threads which really threw our visitor count up!

I think we can hold it though - TRF will be #1 soon enough!

WUS has a Board for every watch on the planet........... Hence, they have more hits..

We only really have one major Board...Rolex, (our other watches are on minor sub-boards) and so our activity for a single Board is well ahead of any other watch forum............

But that doesn't mean that we let down any............

That is exactly what I have observed .. just look at the "Rolex" part of WUS and "relojes especiales" and you will see that their traffic in nothing compared to ours .
Just get a food and drinks section here .. you'll see what will happen .. let alone if we up till a couple of months had a " Locks & vaults " section

I'd be fine adding 5 new boards. Fortis, Glycine, Doxa, Tutima, and U-boat for starters.

I think Patek would be appreciated by some.

I love it just the way it is!

IMHO why add boards and dilute our core competency just to move up a subjective ranking. It seems we are already accepted as the site to go to when it comes to Rolex info. That is more than enough for me.

Please do not add Patek or Breguet to TRF , Stevo ... I couldn't afford it

That would be nice , or a very exclusive watches section to cater for those type watches like Patek , Breguet , vacheron Constantin , Richard Mille and many more top of the range complications

not too many to dilute and for the the limited few

just a mix it up.

some haute horology and some digital and other luxury brands

maybe just a general sub board

to show appreciation for all kinds of watches

Well it is a very valid point that quality is always better than quantity. Things are pretty fine as they are here now.

I don't think anyone could complain about the level of activity on this forum........if anything it's impossible to keep up with all the posting anyway (2000+ per day).

More brands can equate to more dilution of a community spirit, more moderation being required and less cohesive harmony at the end of the day.

There is a non-Rolex specific brand forum here already and so anyone who wants to post about a different brand is entitled to do so there.

I agree, when you have a winning formula.........stick to it and Rolex itself is the best example of that. Lets take a lesson from that example.

Some of those huge discussion boards with 1,000 members online really become fragmented and without focus.
