Rookie on board

Hey everyone.
Great forum that you guys have over here. I’ve been lurking here for the past couple of months learning about the watches of the world.
I purchased my first Rolex about 3 years ago because I was just looking for a nice Watch with some style. I loved the RG OF yachtmaster at the time and picked one up to break my “high-end wristwatch virginity”. Once I got that, I realized that a RG can’t be a daily driver and I picked up my DJII as my everyday wristware. Well, by then my obsession was starting to bloom and I knew that I would need a sport Watch as well, so I welcomed the 16710 come into my family. By now, I was starting to learn a bit more about the rest of the Rolex models and made the decision to go for the Milgaus because it was just so unique yet simple. The Hulk that I picked up earlier this month was just because it was the Watch that I was madly in love with. At this point, I feel like I can finally title myself a collector, even though I don’t have any real expensive watches in my portfolio. Now I am hear to learn, learn and learn. Watches have now become an obsession by me and everyday that I log on to TRF, I learn more about different models and their history. So Hello everyone, thank you for making this such a friendly place to hang out.

FYI, looking to either add the 116515 RG Daytona or the SS AP Royal Oak Chrono as my nexty.

Welcome. Buy what YOU love.
A Milgauss is a great piece to have too.
