They will probably lower the price of the X when the new ones show up. From someone who upgrades most years, I'll probably skip it for now.
Apple just discontinued the X, unless you find it at ATT, Verizon or Bestbuy.

Well there is the xr which is a 750 dollar option for those who don’t want the Xs. I don’t want a bigger screen so I’m good with my x for now.

How long will these carriers offer the X? Till they sell out?

I watched the reveal and not much reason for the average iPhone user. You won’t be able to order an X online once the Xs is shipping (unless you get NOS at a Beat Buy or other retailer - or buy a refurb).

For the power user - much faster and increased max RAM of 512GB.

For the photog’s some unreal and cool features like post processing DoF controls. Much better bionic A12 processor core plus better CPU & GPU.

Like buying a Rolex, the new models give you a chance to snag a pre-owned prior model.

The X will be around on shelves at the carriers and retailers until inventory is gone.

The only new model that current X owners might find worth buying is the Xs Max w/512GB. But MSRP nearly $1500

I don't understand why the Xr screen size is in between Iphone Xs and Iphone Xs Max, one would think that Apple would make it smaller than the iphone Xs, I could be wrong.

Xr reminds me of the time they released the 5C. Different color options and not the full features of the flagship model. Although it is bigger than the Xs, it still carries an LCD screen which makes the Xs screen superior. For the few people here who know what I do and love iPhones, let me just answer your question now and tell you that I do not know what deals my stores will be offering

Ugh, these phone prices are insane! I’ve been waiting to get rid of my 6s which I’ve had for two and a half years. I think I want the Xs Max but geez, it’s $1200 for 256GB! Holy cow.

I don’t like the look of the Xr......looks cheap to me in all those colors....plus the bezels look thicker than on the Xs models. Am I right? Plus to get one of those in 256GB is $900.

You're right about the Xr it does have thicker bezels and there are other things misses too. I'm John knows what's missing from the Xr vs the Xs/Xs Max.

I see now, I was use to the old ones being cheaper, but with the Xr that wouldn't make sense the X is gone.

I think they're cool. I don't like the idea of getting calls or text on my wrist. All of the time. A lot of times I like to step away from my phone

There is wireless charging with the XR, just not the faster 10w wireless charging that the Xs has.
