Info Needed From The Day-Date Experts On Here

Trying to decide between the 18238 and the 118238. I know the differences as far as non-polished vs polished lugs, non solid vs solid link bracelet and the domed vs non-domed sapphire crystal etc. I know the 118238 'wears' a little bigger because the lugs are a little wider and the fluted bezel is also a little wider. My question is the bracelet on the 118238 a little wider than the bracelet on the 18238? It appears to be but am not sure.

I made this same decision a year and a half ago. I was fortunate my dealer had both a 118238 and 18238 to choose from. I was able to hold both in hand and spend a good amount of time comparing them. You have captured most of the differences except it is only the lugs that are fatter to give the appearance of a little more size. Bezel width is the same as well as the width of the bracelet. Goes with what sings. I went 18238 for a number of reasons. A pic of mine below.

118238 ... the band on the newer model is far better and worth the extra

Links on 118238 are solid gold and hollow on 18238 so more weight on the newer model. What is the price difference?

you have to feel them and touch them. 11 is heavier... I prefer the 1 series because it is lighter and I like the brushed lugs. I am also right in between the link sizes so...I actually need to stretch the bracelet by 2mm which 1 series will accommodate over time. 11 much harder to stretch. so stretch to me is good.
