A friend that also works in the same place as I do told me that he wanted to buy a nice watch for his daughter who has recently graduated and entered workforce. He had a budget that he wanted to keep the watch under and of course had to be a new watch.

After a few occasions of talking about watches and what to look for etc. , he narrowed it down to a 34mm DJ with grape dial that his daughter loved. Of course I put him in contact with Davidsw and after a few days, he brings this to work to show me.

I was happy to help him with the search and suggestions , and also saving him a few dollars by hooking him up with David who as always delivered a flawless transaction.

Now he is thinking he might want to buy one for his wife too.

This is a gorgeous sunburst dial. Pictures don’t do it justice. Simple, elegant, sporty, perfect size for her. Everyone was happy!!!

You're a good friend and that's a wonderful watch. I purchased the same model for my wife this year and she has been wearing it just about every other day and loves it. It's quite versatile (not too big, not too small, not too simple, not too flashy) for all but dressy occasions. If a lady wants a Rolex, for the money I don't think it can be beat.

Thank you all, really all I did was to share the limited knowledge that I have (almost all of it gathered from here and you all) with him and guided him on what to consider and what to pass on. Also giving him peace of mind about wiring cash to someone he doesn’t know all the way across US!

I thought you all would enjoy the story and the watch so I shared as I like hearing happy stories about watches. Otherwise it is really nothing worthy.

Also, with the recent bashing of resellers being the norm, I wanted to bring this to everyone’s attention again, that people like David are still providing a great service to WIS community and the occasional non-WIS buyers.
