I have never been to Naples (someday) but the many pizzas I had at all the restaurants on Piazza Navona in Rome and around it were excellent.

We had Pizza in Venice, overlooking the Grand Canal.
It was running with Olive Oil. (the Pizza, not the Canal) Not impressed. |

I agree. The best pizza in Chicago to me is thin crust, like Rosati's, Vito and Nick's, and others. That being said I really like NY pizza too. I give Chicago Italian sausage the nod over NY for flavor.

Although I’ve lived in NY for the last 15 years I grew up in the Chicagoland area and I do prefer Chicago to New York pizza but when I go back home my favorite pizza joint in the Chicago area is Barnaby's Family Inn in Arlington Heights. They don’t serve the traditional Chicago pizza but I’ve never had better pizza anywhere.

NY style for the win. You can walk into any NYC pizza shop and grab a slice that is hands down better than anything anywhere........except, Bay Ridge or Bensonhurst Brooklyn where the italian pizza shops make some stuff that is on another level. |

Chicago, specifically Lou Malnati's.
https://www.tastesofchicago.com/cate...waAlZ4EALw_wcB Not quite sure about the objections to it being too thick, if you're going to eat X amount of pizza weight, who cares what form? |

I prefer NY Style. Place by me called Nina & Rafi has the best pizza. Varuni Napoli isn’t too bad either.
