In NYC, the type of bread is part of ordering a sandwich for the most part but they’re all sandwiches: Corned beef on rye, bacon egg and cheese on a roll, turkey and Brie on a baguette. Etc

A burger is a burger and a sandwich is a sandwich here. I’m hungry now
