Positive Thinking
Off for another week on the road. The doctors predict my wife will loose her hair this week from chemo treatments. Plus a relative requested pics for a family genealogy project so I decided to take a few pics yesterday.
Y'all here have been so gracious and kind with your comments and good wishes. It really warms your heart to know friends across the state, country, and globe are cheering for you. Hair grows back [my wife should know, she's been a very successful hair dresser for over 26 years]. But I gotta tell ya, I'm the luckiest guy in the world. Wonderful wife, great son, cool job, dream home, and a couple of Rollies to enjoy. We will be done with the chemo by mid September and it's all downhill from there. This is not to bring anyone down. This is to reaffirm how lucky WE ALL ARE. Pics of me & my better half, my son and his g/f, and beautiful downtown Cincinnati, Oh from the back deck of our 'Ol Kentucky home. dP

My thoughts and prayers are with you guys, Dan. My Mother just went through a very similar experience and came through like a champ and I'm sure your lovely wife will too.
The hair will return. Your positive outlook and having such a loving and supportive family is what will see her through the journey to it's return

Hi Dan,
I'm new to this forum, but just wanted to let you know that you have a lovely family. I have a good friend whose mom went through a similar experience about 4 years ago, and she is doing great today! |

Thanks everybody! My wife has received so much support thru cards, letters, flowers, and phone calls. She's also blessed with [and has earned] a very loyal clientele.
After treatments we're looking at a 96% success rate. So again, we feel lucky and blessed. She's looking forward to helping others thru it in the future as only someone who's run that race could. Again, thanks, Y'ALL THE BEST! dP
