I heard that iPhone 8 may already be delayed. :( I have the iPhone 7 plus now, but it's not as good on call quality as my iPhone 6 was. But I'm still curious about iphone 8 and iPhone 7s and 7s plus.

Here's a link about the delay.

Since Samsung sales are over a quarter of the US market and lead the global market, I wouldn't call you a nonconformist or a renegade. You're pretty much the typical phone buyer.

Now, if you were a Blackberry owner...

If I am honest, I find that they have mostly morphed into the same phone (Apple, Samsung, Google) they all do the same things just go about it differently, I prefer Android (Pixel XL) because I find the "back" button more intuitive, small matter but there are other small reasons. I don't say it is better, just different. All my other devices are Apple (iPad Pro and Mac Book Pro) and find that they interact seamlessly, I think the days of "this or that" eco system have long gone, one can mix and match devices quite easily nowadays.

The app on my Pixel and iPad work on my Sonos system in the same way and Apple Music and Google play music work on my iPad and Pixel in the same way, same with my Calendars, e mail, photos etc.

Samsung sales, as in just phones? Or all their products? As they do tvs, appliances, and such.
BTW, my Samsung smart TV only lasted about 3 years, and the LCD panel went bad. Was cheaper to just scrap it and buy new. Went with a 48" Vizio for my bedroom TV which so far has been great. Knock on wood!

Phone sales. Sorry, but you'll need to rejoice in your uniqueness somewhere else.

My carrier is AT&T, and they punt me emails constantly to buy the 7 with entanglements: always deleting the emails.........I will not buy a 7 on any service, but they don't get the message.

"Buy an iPhone 7 and get one free, when you buy on AT&T Next with eligible service (min $70/mon).

*Each req’s $649.99 on installment agmt & elig. svc. Req’s a new line. Free after $650 in credits over 30 months. Credits start in 2 to 3 bills. If svc cancelled, device balance due. Taxes & fees apply. See details below. etc....."

...So... followup on my waiting for a new iPhone; today a Bloomberg video about fall 2017 iPhones - 10th anniversary (3 phones coming: two overhauled, one stainless steel design, curved glass):

OT, but I have been trying find a refurb iPhone 6 plus with AT&T or Apple warranty. But apparently AT&T got out of refurb iPhone business. And most refurb iPhone are now being sold by 3rd party company with their own warranty.

7 Plus now and will get the 8 plus when it comes out. Phones trickle down in the family (4) so it works well for me. I buy whatever Apple sells.

Bunch of different/conflicting rumors on the usual leak sites.
Does appear that there will be 2 or 3 different models launched in the fall.
Rumors say the top of the line 8+ will move away from the aluminum frame and go edge to edge screen with no home button.
Lol, never mind the Bloomberg link posted by BBL above is a culmination of all the info I have seen so far.
Be nice if they make the screen larger but in a smaller frame. Camera is suppose to be really good.

My Samsung Galaxy S8+ will be here Thursday, the 20th.

I have no first-hand knowledge or even the slightest interest in any Apple product, although I'm certain they must be wonderful products.

So I guess I have uniqueness besides my phone of choice, LOL.

I'd rather than two iPhone 4 copies with modern electronics ... Although the SE is as close as I'll get.

There may be a release of the iPhone SE 2 in late August 2017.

At the mercy of my company plan. I usually get the current model a few weeks before the new one is launched!

Couldn't care less, kept my 4 for 3 years until it really didn't work, dead battery, love the fingerprint function they put starting from the 5S I think, now the NSA, CIA and others already have your prints, I never activated it on mine, but pretty sure it takes it wether activated or not

I use my mine until they break. Upgrades have never been compelling enough that I ever needed the last straw greatest. I did do that not to long ago with the IPad Pro however. When they went to the 12X9 version the larger size was just to compelling not too upgrade.

They already had my prints for my security clearance. Now the Chinese do as well (they hacked OPM and stole clearance holder's personal data). I would be more concerned that Apple will use them for something diabolical than the government.

Great picture. I really like the size of the iPhone 8 and I'm due for an upgrade. I'll have had my 6 Plus for 3 years this Christmas.
