I have a couple of vintage Rolexes, and a vintage 1984 Porsche 911 Targa. Absolute blast to drive.

Congrats on your beautiful car and watch, and on meeting your goals a year early. A Rolex should look you wear it, and a Porsche should look like you drive the heck out of it!

Yeah, seems like a perfect combination, but at this point in my life I can only afford the "HIGH "maintenance on a keeping a Rolex and a 911 running 100%, that third one is way to expensive and too fast for me!!!!!

It was just for the pic, love the look, almost opted for the duck tail spoiler but decided against it.

Despite all the furor over the new turbo'd engines, I am LOVING it. Had a 991.1 Carrera 2, and now have the 991.2 Carrera 4 and I love the wider body and the new turbo 3.0L base engine. The immense torque down low and ability to still rev the engine out like the older NA flat-6 makes the car much more fun to drive. More than enough power for me in the base engine here in Hawaii.

Cheers and enjoy the 911
Thanks, love the 4s, nothing beats a wide fat ass!!!!

Is this really a thing? Doesn't the spoiler some up automatically at speed?

Thanks to a very understanding wife!!!!

I have seen so many nice cars owned by TRF'ers!
There is a wide variety of transportation methods by all the members.

Please remember this is just my opinion and no way reflects how I feel about other vehicles.

But for me the Rolex/Porsche is the ideal combination!

Just wondering how many agree and please attach your Rolex/Porsche 911 pics.
Congrats to you. Beautiful car!

Yes, at something like 75 mph. When you manually put it up (the press of a button) in a parking lot going 5 mph, some folks think it looks a little Boy Racer-ish.

Yet i see people do it all the time

Panamera owners are the #1 offenders in my area.

Congrats on the Porsche.

I think everything pairs nicely with a Porsche, even a swatch :)

I see no correlation whatsoever between a vehicle, meal, wine, pen, toenail clipper or anything else and a wristwatch. I think this stuff is made up by the people who want to show off for some reason.

No need to be a 'downer' Magwitch.
Let the OP have his "moment".
By the way OP, beautiful car.

I see no correlation between a wristwatch and the six figure severance package you claimed you will be receiving when you retire?

This stuff is brought up by people who want to show off.

Then why post twice in this thread? Why read or post in the open forums at all?

There are enough threads on this site that are just about watches that you couldn't read them all in a year yet you take the time to post in the ones in which you don't like the topic just to be negative. Odd that you're trying to psychoanalize other people's motives.

OP congratulations on reaching your goal early.
