<<< Italy 2017 >>>

Leg one of our adventure begins in Sorrento. My wife Andrea and I are here for our belated honeymoon! I can't think of a more beautiful place to celebrate. Updates to follow when time permits. Ciao B&A

You can't???

Neither can I!!!
I went last year and still revel in its beauty.
Congratulations on your wedding and best wishes for a wonderful, belated, honeymoon.

PS If you get the opportunity go to Capri. Breathtaking.

Tons of fun!
Was just in Sorrento in July. The best pizza I found was Pizzeria de Franco on Corso Italia. Just down from there is Chef Carmen (cooking school la cucina del gusto by chef Carmen) where you can do a cooking class, it is well worth it. She's a ton of fun and will hook you up with all the best spots at local prices. She brought us out after our class to one of our best dinners and it was 1/4 of what we were paying elsewhere. I can't remember the name, but it's right across her location down the ally 100 yards or so.
We did a sunset dinner at Terrazza Bosquet which over looks the sea, it was gorgeous and the service/food was spot on. Highly recommended.
Wish we were still there!
Hope you guys have a blast!

Next stop Positano. The view from our balcony at the hotel is amazing. Tired from another day of sightseeing, we decide to chill with some beer and lemon chips on our balcony. The perfect way to end our day.

I've always said that the only place you can get bad food in Italy is at MacDonald's. I love Italy more than France. The people are friendlier, the food is generally better and cheaper, and the whole atmosphere is nicer. Since you're in Positano, you should go a little south to the Cinque Terra. You can walk it in one day, but we took 8 days, stopping in each of the five towns along the way, for something to eat and/or drink.

I would agree with that. I've done a lot of business on Italy and have never had a bad meal. I've asked my Italian business partners if there is such a thing and they say that even if a place isn't good, it's not bad either.

Although IMO, I think Spain has The rest of the world beat in the food department overall

Thanks and I agree the good here is to die for. We've been to the Cinque Terre in the north and stayed in Monterosso, it was beautiful.
